Our brief from the head was to create a Quiet Area for the pupils with a block paving surface, picket fence and entrance arch surround with planting to screen off. The area was covered over with two triangular shade sails in the schools colours that would provide 98% UV protection. The school was extremely pleased with the end result and it is now in use.
